Build traditional arrows from a matched set of 12 Scandinavian redwood (Scots pine) shafts. Selected for arrow making, the shafts are available in several diameters and spine ranges so you can choose a combination suited to your intended build.
Available options
- Quantity: 12 wooden shafts
- Wood: Scandinavian redwood (Scots pine)
- Diameters: 1/4, 9/32, 5/16 and 11/32 inches
- Spine options: 20–25lb through 75–80lb, subject to the selected diameter and stock
- 9/32-inch shaft length: 29 inches
- 5/16-inch shaft length: 32 inches
Choosing wooden shafts
Choose diameter, spine and finished length together, taking account of your bow, draw length, pile weight and intended use. Natural wooden shafts should be inspected, matched and finished carefully before assembly.
